I recreate fragments of reality starting from natural objects, which are then reinvented. The pictures themselves become in this way stories made from a play between hazard and nieuw.

I like combining fragments and simbols from east european folklor with actuals details; the fragments came out natural from my memory, traditions with whom I feel like I belong to, wich are part of me.

Fragments of icons, symbols of universal cultures, details of the romanian traditionals clothes becomes nieuw characters into a contemporary landscape.

This paintings are my travel jurney in wich the words are the colours, the archaic forms or the symbols of some ancient cultures. I don't know exactly where this travel will lead to, I don't intend to create some serious statements but to be involved into this ephemer play in wich I create a solid expression of a world of forms.
