I recreate fragments of reality starting from natural objects, which are then reinvented. The pictures themselves become in this way stories made from a play between hazard and new. 
 
I like combining fragments and symbols from east European folklore with actuals details; the fragments came out natural from my memory, traditions with whom I feel like I belong to, which are part of me. 
 
Fragments of icons, symbols of universal cultures, details of the Romanian traditional clothes becomes new characters into a contemporary landscape.

These paintings are my travel journey in which the words are the colors, the archaic forms or the symbols of some ancient cultures. I don't know exactly where this travel will lead to, I don't intend to create some serious statements but to be involved into this ephemeral play in which I create a solid expression of a world of forms.
